I love celebrating the 4th of July with bright, vibrant colors of red, white and blue! Especially, when the food doesn’t have any food dye.

There are so many colorful, patriotic 4th of July food items!

Unfortunately, so many of them have all sorts of food dyes in them.

There are so many problems with food dye, not to mention one son of mine goes completely out of control after consuming it.  So we avoid food dye as much as possible.

Here are some naturally colored red, white and blue food to help you celebrate the 4th of July in style, but without any food dye.  Yay!

Small Town Woman has this recipe for a super tasty looking strawberry, blueberry, and blackberry cobbler.

We all love cobblers around here. Adding a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top or a dollop of whipped cream is a great way to make this red, white, and blue all dye free.
